Dr. Don DeMichele conceived and organized DeMichele Systems in
1977 to develop software for the flat glass industry. In 1984, Dr. DeMichele
created Red Mountain Research Laboratory to provide microcomputer-based software
for the contract glazing market.
Dr. DeMichele is the lead author of all of our software systems.
He is responsible for guiding the corporations in direction and growth. Dr.
DeMichele is a frequent and highly respected contributor to the glass industry
through seminars given to local, regional, state, and national organizations.
Additionally, he has written over 80 articles published in national journals and
magazines.
Dr. DeMichele was an associate professor of Industrial
Engineering and head of the Biosystems Research Group at Texas A&M University
for eleven years prior to founding DeMichele Systems, Inc. While employed at
Texas A&M University, Dr. DeMichele served as consultant to several science and
research institutes and laboratories throughout the United States. Prior to
joining the university's research staff, he was employed by the Space Science
Laboratory, University of California at Berkeley and the California Institute of
Technology to work on design and analysis of spacecraft.
Dr. DeMichele earned his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at the
University of Arizona and holds a Master of Science Degree from the University
of California at Berkeley.
