Installation Instructions USA

To install the Full Edition:

     1.  Download the ppakxxxfull.exe file to a folder and double left click on it. 

          (xxx should be replaced with the version number, such as ppak302full.exe)

     2.  Select Unzip from the window that appeared to unzip the files.  The install should then start automatically. 
          Follow the on screen instructions to install.  If the install doesn't start then continue to step 3.

     3.  We create a c:\ppakxxxfull folder on your hard drive.  Make sure PartnerPak+® for Windows is not running and use

          My Computer, C:\ drive, and find the ppakxxxfull folder and run the Setup.exe from the folder to install. 

          (xxx should be replaced with the version number, such as ppak302full folder.)

To install the * Option 1 Update Installation:  (* This option wipes out existing catalogs)

     1.  Download the ppakxxxopt1.exe file to a folder and double left click on it. 

          (xxx should be replaced with the version number, such as ppak302opt1.exe)

     2.  Make sure PartnerPak+® for Windows is not running.  Select Unzip from the window that appeared to unzip the files. 
          The update should then start automatically.  Follow the on screen instructions to update.  If the update doesn't start then continue to step 3.

     3.  We create a c:\ppakxxxopt1 folder on your hard drive.  Make sure PartnerPak+® for Windows is not running and use
          My Computer, C:\ drive, and find the ppakxxxopt1 folder and run the Update.exe from the folder to install. 
          Look for the Green "e" and the Blue "P" icon.  (xxx should be replaced with the version number, such as ppak302opt1 folder.)

To install the Option 2 Update Installation:  (This option merges update changes with the existing data - Recommended)

     1.  Download the ppakxxxopt2.exe file to a folder and double left click on it. 

          (xxx should be replaced with the version number, such as ppak302opt2.exe)

     2.  Make sure PartnerPak+® for Windows is not running.  Select Unzip from the window that appeared to unzip the files. 
          The update should then start automatically.  Follow the on screen instructions to update.  If the update doesn't start then continue to step 3.

     3.  We create a c:\ppakxxxopt2 folder on your hard drive.  Make sure PartnerPak+® for Windows is not running and use
          My Computer, C:\ drive, and find the ppakxxxopt2 folder and run the Update.exe from the folder to install.
