Estimating and Engineering: The estimating and engineering portion is the heart of the program. This feature allows a user to take off, price and engineer your window product lines. Pre-configured Windows Databases: The window manufacturer can supply DeMichele Systems, Inc. with the window line information to be entered into the window manufacturing software, and we will train your engineers on changing, inputting and verifying window systems. Optimization: A major feature of the software is its ability to optimize material and glass required for a project or job. The typical yield for an optimization run is 95 percent or higher based on the batch size. More cuts typically means better yields. Reporting: The software produces several useful reports such as a list of materials including glass, vinyl, hardware and accessories, labor estimates, engineering calculations, cutting instructions, tags for products and a total bottom line estimate. Bill of Materials: Get a complete breakdown of materials used per window, including hardware and vinyl size and color. Inventory Control: The software can talk with inventory management software or act as an inventory manager allowing receipt of product and processing production out of inventory into products for shipping. Know what materials you have on hand and set re-order points to automatically fill inventory, or process a purchase order for material. Accounting Export: Feed information directly into your accounting package. Purchasing, costing and production information. Shaped Openings: The software allows for the design of shaped openings and other complex designs. Stand alone or SQL Server Based: Feed information directly into your accounting package. Purchasing, costing and production information. Web Based Support: New technology such as our eSupport program allows for diagnostics of issues through high speed internet as well as phone support for our customers.  |
